I’m having a hard time uploading some OBS files to YouTube. I recorded some OBS videos but it won’t upload on YouTube. Every time I try it gets stuck at “processing” and then later gives me error video failed to process. I am considering isn’t OBS files accepted by YouTube due to the file format or any other limits?

Got more details of OBS recording files and I got know that generally OBS saves files as MP4 or FLV. Whereas, YouTube has some limits for video size, length, resolution, etc. That’s basic reason why YouTube won’t load OBS files.

1. Import OBS files

2. Select output format

3. Edit/Split your movie

Click Edit button and you can trim, crop or adjust the video with the built-in video editor to get the very part and effect of the movie you want.

Tip: If the video clips you’ve trimmed are still longer than 15 minutes, you can choose to split the long OBS video into smaller parts so as to share on YouTube without limit. Click the Split icon in the main interface, and you can cut your files according to time length and file size.

4. Start the conversion

Click “Convert” button to start encoding OBS video to AVI for uploading to YouTube.
