Solution to AVI Files Won’t Play on WD TV Live

Q: I have a few avi files. A large amount of these files will not play on my WD TV live. Has anyone encountered an issue similar to this and have a solution for it? 

WD TV Live is a set-top box made for streaming kinds of media files, but when add AVI to WD TV Live, you may find WD TV Live not playing AVI files like the above user met. How to solve the AVI files to WD TV Live playback issues?
