Hey! Does anyone know when this is coming? I have some of my films in HEVC/H265 but it doesn't seem that Plex supports it yet? :(
Q 2: Plex can’t play HEVC videso
I have some movies coded with HEVC. When I play one of those movies, they start normally but if I need to skip through the chapters, Plex stops and says "impossible to reproduce this element"…
Actually, direct play depends on the client being able to interpret the stream. Very few platforms can natively decode H.265 streams. Finally, the Plex des do not publish a roadmap or timeline.
